The first Geekbench test results of the new iPhones did not demonstrate a noticeable performance boost. However, another popular test, AnTuTu, shows a completely different picture. The basic iPhone XS that boasts of the A12 Bionic chipset with half a dozen cores and a lavish 4 GB of RAM has showed record-high benchmarks, leaving all competitors far behind.
In the AnTuTu test, iPhone XS scored a record-breaking total of 363,525 points. For comparison, last year’s iPhone X demonstrated a result of about 220,000 points. On the other hand, the top-end Android smartphones boarded with the Snapdragon 845 chipset and advanced cooling system are hardly able to reach the mark of 300,000 points.
All that’s left to do is to wait for the launch of sales of iPhone XS, after which more extensive and detailed tests will be near at hand. In addition, the release of Huawei Mate 20 is just around the corner. The newcomer flagship will be equipped with the new Kirin 980 chipset, which is also created by the 7-nm technology.
